I finally got my paint and my design groove on! This worn out terracotta pot has seen its days. Though inspired a while back to revamp my old things, I had to put it off for a long time. No painting around a two year old...if you know what I mean.
Since the pot will be on my kitchen window sill, I wanted it to be very personal. The white paint was a safe choice. I wanted it to match with things I already have.
Where I used to throw away the sticker outlines before, I now found a purpose for them, and they sure came handy for this project. I reused the sticker outlines from miss T craft box as stencils, a lot faster then having to draw by hand. See her little hand modeling the pot for me?
I am almost finish, still coloring in the A and the other initials, but this is pretty much what it will be. It's quick, easy, cheap and much better than the worn out clay look.
Thanks for your visit, I am glad you've found your way here. Please leave me a comment so that I can find my way to you.
