Could We Get Some Sunshine Please?

Miss Trinity has started a new schedule, we are back to everyday. Yay! The new schedule keeps me very busy, and the weeks flew by. But we are sick of the rain. Could we get some sunshine please?

Rain is bad for us, since we live in an area where the water sits under the house. Almost every single house in our neighborhood has bought a sump pump. We did not go for the obvious choice because the neighbors seemed to have mix feelings about it. Last year, we bought a portable water pump and use it in the flooded areas and it worked fine for us. We also had done a little remodeling in the backyard so now the water flows to the drain and not into the house foundation. I admit rain is what we need, but it's May and we had just a few nice days so far. I am ready for more sunshine!

    I wish I could send you some sunshine. We have been having beautiful days here in the desert. It won't be long and we will be begging for rain and cooler days I am sure, but for now, my bones are loving the warmth of the sunshine.

    I'm with you, girl, let's stop the rain for a bit! We have a very rainy week here, but at least not flood rains!

    You asked about the picture I used on Rednesday this week - I probably got it from Google or Flickr. I see things I like and save them, not remembering their source!
