Rain is bad for us, since we live in an area where the water sits under the house. Almost every single house in our neighborhood has bought a sump pump. We did not go for the obvious choice because the neighbors seemed to have mix feelings about it. Last year, we bought a portable water pump and use it in the flooded areas and it worked fine for us. We also had done a little remodeling in the backyard so now the water flows to the drain and not into the house foundation. I admit rain is what we need, but it's May and we had just a few nice days so far. I am ready for more sunshine!

I wish I could send you some sunshine. We have been having beautiful days here in the desert. It won't be long and we will be begging for rain and cooler days I am sure, but for now, my bones are loving the warmth of the sunshine.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, girl, let's stop the rain for a bit! We have a very rainy week here, but at least not flood rains!
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the picture I used on Rednesday this week - I probably got it from Google or Flickr. I see things I like and save them, not remembering their source!
Trinity is adorable, and I'm hoping for warm and sunny weather soon.
