Rhododendron Flower Bud
The greatest gardening gift of all to me is the moment when I can count the buds on my plants and flowers. Seeing the new life brings me joy, gives me the sense of accomplishment. The hard work pays off when the flowers flourish. I guess that is why I love gardening.
I especially love to propagate. I have tried growing mangoes from seeds, and propagated my entire carpet rose in the front of my house. Gardening and propagating had given me much companionship as well. The type of companion with rewards, gratification and we all need a pat on the shoulder sometime.

hope to see you too, thanks!
They come in red and other shades too.
DeleteI love the color and details in the flowers. They are one of those flowers which do not grow very well in our subtropical climate but i might try some day. Happy gardening.
ReplyDeleteWe have very nice weather here, I love living in CA for the food and the diversity as well.
DeleteLovely captures. I like the details.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. The bee doesn't like to share the flowers though.
DeleteVery beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteI love how the pink petals look tranparent in front of the light.
DeleteGorgeous, that's the common and state flower of WV.
ReplyDeleteGreat to know. They chose well.
DeleteI love all of them, but the bud stands out because it looks so fragile and precious. Your template is really great. I didn't think Blogger templates could look like this. Lately, I've tried a new one for my relationship blog but it didn't work very well. I like your reply panels. Wish I'd downloaded this one for my blog from the start.
ReplyDeleteI'll never forget the blooms of the Rhododendron, because at one of the houses we lived there was a huge bush about 7 feet tall with them.
ReplyDeleteI love the color. It's beautiful.
