I love broccoli, and I like to steam them or stir fried them the most. I could eat raw broccoli, but don't really like that much!
ReplyDeleteme too, it's hard to make the brocoli tasty raw. I like it steamed.
DeleteI actually don't like broccoli unless there is melted cheddar cheese on top :) It does however have many health benefits so I should eat it once in a while.
ReplyDeleteI like my brocoli soup, it's one of my famous soups...:-) I don't cook it well done, just barely enough to bring it to a nice green.
Deletei do eat and love broccoli, even though it's not at the top in my list of favorite vegetables :) the reason simply because i do not know how to make it or cook it that will taste as good as how others make it :)
ReplyDeletei usually just eat my broccoli raw or lightly steamed.
haven't really learned to like brocoli raw, but I like it steamed.
DeleteAmanda, this sounds wonderful! We love broccoli and it so healthy!! It is the top food for digestive health and has enormous benefits in a host of other areas.
ReplyDeleteYes. I am going to make it for dinner tomorrow. Brocoli is so good for you.
DeleteMy kids and I love broccoli. We normally served it steam in soup, noodles etc. I don't have any special recipe for it as it is added in most dishes that we make at home.
ReplyDeleteI love steamed soup brocoli, it is one of my favorite ways to eat brocoli.
DeleteYummy, that looks so good. I love broccoli any way it is served.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a recipe since my favorite way to eat broccoli is lightly steamed. I also add the raw florets to salads sometimes.
You eat a lot of veggies Squirrel Queen, that is so awesome!
DeleteI like broccoli and so do my kids. Not raw though, it has to be boiled or steamed or grilled. While I do not have a broccoli recipe, when boiling our broccoli I usually add beef or chicken bouillon cubes to give the broccoli a little flavor.
ReplyDeleteThat's an idea. I always struggle with flavoring brocoli.
DeleteSounds good! I can't eat nuts so would omit the sunflower seeds. For those who don't particularlly like brocolic that could be substituted or cut down by adding a bunch of 'torn' lettuce.
ReplyDelete..

1. I like Broccoli when I cook it :) I add spice and stuff and the kids love it like that. I think if I made just steam broccoli, I'd have tears and fights.
ReplyDelete2. Not really. I just stirfry with other vegetables and pasta or with chicken.
Happy weekend!
Off to visit the others.
I don't have a broccoli recipe I think you'd like. Basically, I just cook it in butter and a veg oxo cube and a bit of basil. The kids like vegetables cooked simply, and I have to do this if I want them to eat it.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind broccoli. I won't say I'm crazy about it, but I don't mind eating it.
We love a great Broccoli Salad, and these look delicious! Thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday. Hope you have a great week end and come back soon!
ReplyDeleteMiz Helen
LOVE broccoli and find it amazing that it is such a polarizing vegetable! One of my favorite episodes of Seinfeld is the "broccoli" episode with Newman!
ReplyDeleteNo recipes to share but a funny tale to tell: I once had a co-worker who, like Newman, HATED broccoli! As a joke, another co-worker once bestowed upon him the gift of a handmade broccoli necklace and made him wear it all day! (The things young blondes can get aging bald men to do!)
Have a fabulous weekend, my friend!
