I love reading about hidden doors and secret pathways so much. I've been finding a lot of these type of things on imgur lately, where people move into old houses only to find some old hidden door somewhere in their house, leading somewhere. Which reminds me, I need to buy an old house one of these days.
I think secret doors are interesting too. I went to the Winchester Mystery house a few times and was still stunned at how Mrs Winchester was so creative - yet strange in her ways through the house with doors.
I've always wondered what has been undiscovered yet. There has to be underground places where people have yet to even discover in some way. I would love to see the pyramids secrets, or any old monument that hasn't even been fully discovered yet.
I use the Amazon rainforest when I reference what is left to be discovered on this Earth. The rainforest is largely undiscovered and who knows what else has yet to be found?
This is really exciting stuff. It'd be so cool to have an adventure in some old abandoned house where there's a hidden door. If I am ever rich, I plan to build my own house and make sure to have a ton of underground sections. Would be so much fun! :)
I too like the idea of adventuring through the locations that are talked about here. So much history and facts to learn about, it is really mind blowing.
There was this weird door under my house that was welded shut. I wish I would have opened it before I moved out, but it was probably nothing special. Would have cool to see if it was something important.
Many interesting places have yet to be discovered. We're still unearthing stuff to this day and it's quite exciting to be honest. I wish I discovered a hidden place like these, would be cool.
I never heard of the murder castle before reading this post. Very interesting, in fact, I might do some more digging and see what else I can learn about it.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you that it would be some sort of adventure to visit some of these places. Having a hidden door would be top notch as well.

ReplyDeleteI like reading about Anne Frank so that was the most interesting to me on this post. Such a turbulent time in world history.
