I am craving for some papaya salad right now. I felt that over the holidays, I've stuffed myself with different kinds of meat and heavy food and now, I just want to focus on eating light.
It shouldn't surprise you that this isn't the first papaya salad post on my blog, because if you look at my search, there are already two. One post Green Papaya Salad with Shrimp was done with super shredded papaya that you can get pre-shredded at the Asian Market. The other post Crunchy Green Papaya Salad Recipe (William Sonoma), was done with the William Sonoma recipe
I haven't had my own home made Papaya Salad in so long and have been striving to get to the kitchen to whip up my own. But still I won't be able to for a little while longer.
Below is the Vietnamese version, it comes with the special beef jerkey. Vietnamse beef jerkey isn't dry, it's red and very lean in fat, it also has sesame seeds.
