It takes a lot of time to make the regular broccoli salad, since there are a few ingredients you have to chopped up. But, I found a quick way to deal with the chopping, you can buy bags of chopped up broccoli and onions at Trader's Joe or the grocery store that has been washed. After that, you just have to make the Broccoli Salad Dressing, see below for the pictures and recipe.
Ingredients: 1 med size broccoli crown , 1/2 cup of chopped ham (optional), 1/2 cup chopped red onion, 1/2 cup halved cherry tomatoes (optional),
Dressing: 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons white vinegar, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/ 4 teaspoon of ground black pepper, 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds (optional)
Preparations: Start with the broccoli crown. Cut into the florets and stem into bite-size pieces. Place in a large bowl. Add the ham cubes, onion and sunflower seeds. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, stirring well. Add to broccoli mixture and toss gently. Thanks for stopping by today
