Pinkish Rose Bud and I Will Follow You

The little tiny thing following behind, can you see him/her?  I came to blogging with zero knowledge, me being the little bug, has little blogging brain. I used to think I was pretty technical because I worked in the technology industry - not.

The truth was when Blessing Reflections came about, I didn't even know how to leave a comment. Looking at a blog was overwhelming, many times I couldn't figure out where to click and surprised what I ended up with. So hilarious now when I think back at my silly nerves, and some technical disasters that called for emergency response from IcyBC. I was indeed few years behind you all, but since then Blessing Reflections and Self Sagacity have become incredible companionship - (sick? well it's true) as well as opportunities for me to develop many skills.

Not to mention, IcyBC and her support group has been so tremendously motivating. I am just familiar with a few and they are on my bloglist below. If you have a chance, stop by and visit them. I am sure you will find their blog well worth the trip, they are all talented individuals. They all have been great inspirations for my photography and my blog, as such I am grateful their friendship.

Thanks for your visit.

  8. yes, I remember you starting late, but am sure you know a lot more than me now about blogging, and like you, Icy has helped me a lot in blogging too, like how to add my blog in Network blogs in Facebook which now I do not know how to do the process for our Salitype blog, haha! and also in the technical aspects of monetizing my blog. Sometimes, I get lazy updating posts for my blog ( especially before when it seems all my friends are at Facebook and that is how I can only communicate to them since they do not visit my blog), there was a time when I did not even update my blog for 2 weeks, all because of Facebook :( but reality sets in, and am back to blogging for a purpose, and told myself, with whatever little time I have left after work and recreating at the great outdoors, I should continue to devote a little time during weekend to update my blog because I again see the purpose of why I blog :)

By the way, I like your comparison of the little bug in your rose to how you have grown in blogging.

  10. Your roses are lovely, though I am not a bug enthusiast! And I'm wondering if these critters are not destructive to the roses themselves.

You are in the San Jose area - I'm in Daly City...we must get together sometime. You know this area is supposed to be the mecca for Philippine cuisine, etc. Let me know if you head down this way and want to have a bloggers rendevous. Poetic Shutterbug is in the area, too.

I came to blogging only eight months ago - when I lost my nursing position of 21 years with the city of San Francisco. As an RN for 45 years, this was all new to me as well! Poetic Shutterbug was my salvation!

  12. I love your roses, beautiful photos and clever how you used your little visitor. I remember my first days of blogging. I didn't even realize that people would be reading it at first. Just thought I was creating an online album for my photographs after I lost many of them when my computer crashed. I wanted a back-up and my blog was it, but after a while I met so many wonderful people, it's been a perfect joy meeting everyone.

  22. Oh, such lovely photos! It's so cute how one bug is following in the footsteps of the other. Blogging was pretty scary for me at first, but the other bloggers are so nice it quickly turned into fun. :)

  23. Beautiful shots of the roses Amanda and I like your analogy with the rose and insect.

I remember when you started blogging and I have watched you grow your blog and gain confidence. We all started out with little or no information and had to find our own way. You are lucky to have had Icy to guide you.
