Eating more fish is one of our goals, and Seared Ahi Tuna is delicious with some salad on just about every other Friday at Happy Hour. Paired it with a glass of 7 Deadly Zin and it's FABULOUS. Even though I love all these supposedly healthier food for you, I have to watch the amount of bad stuff I do consume. Taking care of high blood pressure is vital and I certainly wouldn't want to see an ecg machines anytime soon.
Ingredients: Black pepper, Ahi Seasoning, Salt, Five Spices, Fried Chopped Shallot. Marinate the Tuna. Fry lightly on both sides, slice thin along the stripes. Serve with Baby Spring Mix.

it looks so yummy, same here, we eat mostly veggies most of the time, and for me, fish :) whereas my hubby because of gout, he is mostly veggies and well, chicken sometimes.

This looks stunningly delicious. Seared tuna is absolutely yummy! Try seared albacore tuna next time, oh man! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the very best way to enjoy ahi tuna. And I see you've seared it just the right amount of time. Overcooking expensive tuna is a crime and is probably a reason some people don't like it. Yours is perfect!
